This map was produced in cooperation with Glacier Mountaineering Society (GMS). This large-format (48″x36″), high-resolution (300 dpi) wall map focuses on the Peaks and Summits of Glacier National Park in Northwest Montana.
The left side of the map features a list of 234 named peaks/summits in Glacier National Park (provided by GMS). The peaks/summits list is sorted by Name and includes columns showing Elevation (ft), Rank (by elevation), Map Grid (eg- “B5”, to make it easy to find each feature) and “check-off” box to keep track of the ones you’ve conquered. “GMS 10,000-foot Peaks” (6) and “GMS Technical Peaks” (5) are also highlighted within the list.
The right side of the map features lists of glaciers, waterfalls, fire lookouts, and campgrounds. Each list contains Name, Map Grid, and “check-off” box to record the sites you’ve visited.
Trails are shown on the map but are not labeled. Trailheads and elevation contours are not displayed.
